Well guys, the past few weeks we have been asking you to bring it — and overwhelmingly you have. Not only that, but you have also been responsive and immediate in making changes when we ask for them. I just wanted to say that I feel so blessed to work with such a large (280+) and talented group of contributors who not only always strive to get better but also strive to help their peers better their businesses. Thank you for all of your hard work. It's paying off big time.
On that note, we will continue spending more time working with you on the front end with your ideas. If there's a topic you'd like to write about and you'd like to hear more about how to make it a runaway success in terms of readership, please feel free to let me know what you're thinking about and we will be happy to help you shape your idea before you even start writing. You can also check the archives before you start writing:
OTHER NOTES
WHAT SAY YOU?
Do you like this newsletter format? What else would you like to see us discuss here? Would you like to see WordPress tips or submit questions that I can answer? Send me your thoughts. I want to make this an easy, fun process for you all. If there was anything you didn’t understand or something you want me to expand on, feel free to privately email me and ask me anything.
DID I MISS SOMETHING?
If a story you wrote slipped through the cracks (or seems to have), please ping me and I'll give you an update.

You can also check the archives before you start writing:
- You can do an “advanced Google” search using keywords and "site:inman.com," which will pull up similar articles we've run via a Google search.
- or you can go to the site, click on the search icon and type in keywords relating to your subject. This feature has had some recent updates, and it should make searching the archives much easier for everyone.
OTHER NOTES
- Also please note: If you send over copy that is time sensitive in any way, please email me with the title and tell me in the email that it is time sensitive and why.
- Do you have a story about your local market that you’d like to share? We’re going to start featuring local content; send us your ideas.
- A note for all: I just want to make sure that everyone knows that there are a couple features that we offer to all contributors. The first is our calendar with the contributors lineup; it’s the best way to follow your story through the publishing process.
- Also, I know that we have mentioned this before, but we ask for first-use privilege. That just means that we ask to publish your work before you publish it on your blog or elsewhere. In exchange for you agreeing to do that, we offer you editing. You are always welcome to request your edited piece and then publish that on your site. Never hesitate to ask me for the edited draft -- that's what I'm here for, and I truly love to help. Thanks guys.
- And the second is the contributors Facebook page where you are likely to see a little more activity and some new features soon. If you would like to join either, please shoot me an email, and I will get you signed up. Thanks.
- We are always looking for a core group of contributors who are interested in some relatively evergreen (pieces where timeliness isn't essential) assignments. If you are interested, please email Amber (amber@inman.com).
