- I just want to remind everyone about the link policy. In your stories, you can link to relevant research and occasionally to examples (necessity TBD in the editing process). But the link to your website, blog, etc., should be in your bio only. And as stated last week, we will be tweaking bios to get them in line with our bio policy. All links and bio information that don't meet the policies will be removed in the editing process. Thanks for your help everyone.
- And for a more fun note, the contributor logos for your email signatures and marketing materials are here! Please send me an email if you would like to get them with the subject line "Please send me contrib logos." Like I said, you can use the logos on your email signature and marketing materials. We only ask that you link it back to our site, and we think it would be ideal for you to link it to your author's page. That way, people can see more about you and what you have written in just one click.
- Finally, our new Local program launches on Monday! Kim Manning is our local editor, and the markets she covers are Chicago, DC, Houston, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco. If you have any questions about Local, feel free to email me or Kim ([email protected] or [email protected]). To be clear, you don't have to choose between Local and national. Some stories will be both. But if you are in one of those markets and would like to develop specific content, please let us know.
