A year (January 2015) What made you want to contribute? I see Inman as the pinnacle of real estate content. I've been reading articles on Inman since my start in real estate and wanted to contribute. What has been your favorite article to write so far? My article about using Twitter for real estate. What has been your favorite piece of feedback so far? I get calls from new agents when I share my "choosing your first brokerage" article, and I get to help during their newbie stage. What do you do in your spare time? I'm a big soccer fan. I always try to make time to watch Liverpool play. What is your passion? Real estate marketing What advice would you give to other aspiring real estate professionals? Be ready to grind your face off. It's going to take at least two or three years to find your footing and start to get referral and repeat business, which is the majority of the "top producer's" business. So to get on that level, you'll need to work harder than everyone else during years 1-3. What advice would you give to new contributors? Schedule your writing time, and stick to it. I wish I had written more articles during my first year. |
