This week's contributor profile is Laura Ure. Check out her work on her Inman profile. I had a little q-and-a session with her, and here is what she had to say: LAURA'S INMAN PROFILELaura Ure is the CEO of Keenability, a marketing agency specializing in lifestyle marketing that targets the affluent buyer. She is also a marketing consultant, mother of two, and a millennial thought-leader looking to change perceptions about millennials. She has over 10 years of marketing experience directly related to the real estate industry, having successfully branded and marketed several high-end developments, agents, home builders and more. | How long have you been a contributor? Only three months. What made you want to contribute? I wanted to contribute because I know how important Inman is for real estate professionals. Specializing in the real estate industry gives me clear insight on the issues that agents face most often when it comes to marketing. I wanted to share my knowledge to help agents learn what they need to get more exposure business. What has been your favorite piece of feedback so far? I love when real estate agents send me emails indicating that some of the advice I have written has been life changing for them. I hope that everything I write can help agents in one way or another. I once got an email thanking me for writing the more relevant article they had read in a long time. What do you do in your spare time? I don't have much spare time. Between running a business and being a mother to an infant and a toddler, my days are pretty full. However, I make the best of my free time by taking vacations with the family. I love exploring new places. What is your passion? Good design. I tell my husband all the time, I want to make the world beautiful, with a smile of course. What advice would you give to other aspiring real estate professionals? Invest in good marketing. Thanks for sharing with us Laura. |
