These are words that describe Charlotte, North Carolina Realtor Leigh Brown, Though Leigh’s career background is colorful – she has sold liquor, stocks, and chainsaws -- for the past 15 years, she has been dedicated to building relationships with her clients in real estate, both current and past . Her enthusiasm about the real estate industry shows on her face, in her work ethic and within her strong team -- which sells an average of 300 homes per year. Leigh has strengthened her knowledge of the industry by participating in higher education courses and she has stayed on top of her game by regularly upgrading her technology tool belt. Friends, clients and colleagues admire her energy, commitment, professionalism and her ability to speak honestly and directly to better serve her clients. Leigh’s industry passions include working with NAR, CRS, and RPAC to improve the lives of Realtors and to protect property rights for all. About a year. What made you want to contribute? There is a need for continued training and professional development in real estate -- particularly the kind that isn't dry and dull and delivered by those who don't currently sell. My passion is to make real estate agents great. What has been your favorite article to write so far? Any of the comments that I receive via mail, email, Facebook message or tweet that tell me they tried something I suggested and it worked -- that makes my heart sing. Making Realtors PROUD to be Realtors, and making them better at the craft of real estate What advice would you give to other aspiring real estate professionals? Find a mentor. Take classes. Never, ever think "you got this" because it changes every single day. What advice would you give to new contributors? Use your unique voice, and don't try to be anyone else.
