For the past 11 years, Tony has served the Atlanta community as a trusted financial adviser. Tony grew up in Atlanta, and graduated from Georgia State University. Around 9 months What made you want to contribute? The mortgage side of the real estate transaction is constantly changing and has a lot of moving parts. I want to keep my fellow real estate professionals in the know, so they are best equipped to assist clients during the home buying process. What has been your favorite article to write so far? How Do Mortgage Points Work What do you do in your spare time? I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and dogs, playing golf and watching all my Atlanta sports teams lose. What is your passion? I love thinking outside the box to solve problems and help people achieve their goals. The mortgage business is fascinating to me because each transaction is completely new puzzle to solve. What advice would you give to other aspiring real estate professionals? Hire a coach to help create a structure for your business, then implement the plan until it becomes automatic. One of the hardest parts about our industry is all the freedom that comes with the job. With that freedom comes the temptation to fly by the seat of your pants and figure things out as you go along. The reality is it's incredibly difficult to achieve your goals this way. The most successful real estate professionals I have met all have one thing in common -- a system. Which particular system you use isn't really that important -- what matters is that you create one for yourself and stick to it. Just make sure your plan includes spending a minimum of three hours each day on lead generation. |
